Bobbi Brown – Tinted Moisturiser

Bobbi Brown – Tinted Moisturiser

Now that my skin is getting better – yay – I’ve been getting into tinted moisturisers in a big way. I’m eschewing my foundations and leaving them sitting, somewhat sadly, on the shelf (I think they might be planning some kind of mutiny against the moisturisers, but I can’t be completely sure).

I’m utterly vulnerable to Bobbi Brown at the moment.  I literally can’t walk past the counter without buying something.  My latest obsession is the Tinted Moisturiser.  Read on to find out why this has become a staple.

Packaging

This is very basic packaging.  A black plastic tube with a flip lid and small opening.

I find the opening does tend to get dirty fairly quickly, so I now clean after every use.

Product

This is a tinted moisturiser that does it all.  My skin is still flaky in some spots thanks to my use of Vitamin A products, but this calms the flakes down beautifully.

I rub a small amount on my face and it literally melds into my skin.  It’s like I’m not wearing anything at all bar moisturiser.  And yet, I get amazing coverage.  This is, by far, the best coverage I’ve ever gotten from a tinted moisturiser.

Comparing it to my other favourite tinted moisturisers, it comes out on top.  It’s ten times better than Laura Mercier’s (big call and I stand by it).  I find that moisturiser gorgeous, but temperamental. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t.   As for Benefit’s You Rebel, I find the finish of this and Benefit’s You Rebel identical BUT this offers better coverage. I wear You Rebel on the weekend and save this for the weekdays at work.

Price

It’s been a while, but I think I paid around $50 for this.

Would I repurchase?

All up, for me, this is the most amazing tinted moisturiser ever.  I absolutely recommend it.
