Lendan – Vitamin Forza C Eye Cream

Lendan – Vitamin Forza C Eye Cream

We all know how obsessed I am with eye creams. I am always on the lookout for miracle products that can help my dark circles and crows lines.

I’ve been happily using Nivea’s Vital Triple Action Soy+ Eye and Lip Care for months and am still thrilled with the results. But I have been keen to give a Vitamin C based product a go.   So, when Lendan contacted me about trying out some of their range, I practically reached through the monitor to get my hands on the Vitamin Forza C Eye Cream.

According to Lendan,

- It smoothes out smile lines and small wrinkles, thanks to the combination of orange concentrate, Vitamin C thalaspheres, Vitamin E and orange-peel essential oil.

- It moisturises the area, thanks to pro-vitamin B5 and AHA fatty esters, boosted by activated ceramides and borage oil. Its special formula includes guar extract with its decongestant properties to boost drainage and micro-circulation in the eye contour area. Unscented. Oil-free. Suitable for all skin types.

Packaging

This comes in a small orange tube with a small opening.

I really like that the packaging is so bright.  It makes it instantly recognisable in my bathroom cabinet.  Bright colours matter when it’s 7am and you don’t want to be up!

Product

The cream itself is more of a thick lotion.  To apply, I dab a pin head sized amount into my upper and under eye area.

It is way too early to tell if this helping to smooth out small lines and wrinkles.  But my eye area does feel smoother and more taut if that makes sense?  I’m finding it easier to apply my makeup and I’m definitely seeing less crepe-ing.

Where this product is making an enormous amount of different is the moisturising component.  Seriously, this is like nectar.  My corrector and concealer is smoothing on so easily and lasting all day thanks to this cream.  I liken it to Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado except that, where I have to tolerate some greasiness before I get the moisture with Kiehl’s, this melds into my skin immediately, leaving my eye area feeling light and smooth.

Price

This retails for $70.  Expensive but I suspect the tube I have will last upwards of six months.

Edited to add: Lendan have let me know that the eye cream will last 12 months if you use a rice grain amount per eye twice a day. Over 9 months that works out to 25 cents a day. Cheaper if you can make it last longer.

Would I repurchase?

Way too early to tell yet with this one.  I’ll update you in a few weeks and let you know my thoughts.
