You’ve Got OMGWTFBBQ – KMS Dry Shine Style
After an operation in 2009, I lost 50% of my hair thanks to the general anaesthetic. Which was horrifying but, thankfully, very temporary.
My only issue with the regrowth was baby hairs. Ohhhh, the baby hairs. They grow upwards, Bart Simpson Tribute Hair style, and never want to lay down. My beloved Aveda Smooth Infusion does a great job of taming the baby hairs but, come the second day after a wash, those hairs are waving in the wind. The Smooth Infusion doesn’t really work on dry hair because the gel consistency is just too heavy. It’s definitely a wet hair product.
So I do have high hopes for KMS’ new Dry Shine Style. KMS are promising me that it will crush – CRUSH – those baby hairs into submission. Day after day. It’s designed to work on dry hair so, if I feel a rebellion coming on, out comes the spray.
I’ll be doing a full review of the KMS Dry Shine Style next week, after I’ve put it through its paces at an upcoming Illamasqua event. If it can make it through that baptism of fire, glitter and canapes, I’ll consider it a stunning success.
