ASAP – Gentle Cleansing Gel
Unfortunately, due to the chemical peel I had on Friday, my skin is in no condition to be viewed without some kind of advisory / bad language warning. I am in full flake and peel mode which, I’m guessing, is not that appetising to you all.
So, this week, my product reviews will focus on the skincare products I am currently using (and loving). I’ve had a few emails about my new regime so it’s worth me giving you guys an initial review.
The first product is my cleanser. I recently ran out of my Paula’s Choice cleanser. Almost serendipitously, the good people from ASAP offered me the opportunity to trial this cleanser. I’ve now been using this for near on four weeks and love it. Read on to find out why.
Packaging
The packaging on this is fairly straightforward. A plastic bottle with a press down / flip up lid.
Product
This is a lovely cleanser. It foams up beautifully but, unlike other cleansers, my skin doesn’t feel tight and dry afterwards.
And it cleans beautifully. Since using this, I’ve noticed less residual dirt on my microfibre cloth. It is seriously good at removing makeup, including the dreaded DoubleWear.
It’s also the BEST wake me up in the morning. Forget coffee. This has something in it that just wakes me up and makes me feel refreshed.
Price
This retails for $44. I suspect this will last me at least 4-5 months so, in reality, if you only had to buy this twice a year, it’s a good investment.
Would I repurchase?
Absolutely. In fact, I’m going as far to say that it’s my HG cleanser. It is gentle enough for my skin not to be aggravated, but still potent enough to leave my skin feeling clean and clear.
