Skincare Regime – ASAP Update
So I’ve been using the ASAP Summer Sensation kit for a week and have some initial thoughts that I figured I should share with you all.
I’ll go through each product in more detail but, overall, my initial impressions are positive. I haven’t had any (more) breakouts or skin issues since starting using them, which is nothing short of a miracle for my troublesome skin.
Oh, and in other skin news, I’m seeing a cosmetic surgeon next week to talk about my ongoing skin issues. I’m thinking maybe a serious of chemical peels might rid my chin of the Vesuvius-like eruptions that perpetually occur. I’ll keep you all updated.
ASAP Gentle Cleansing Gel
Loving this cleanser so far. I use this in the morning in the shower for a specific reason. It’s a great wake-me-up. This has a gel-like consistency which foams up easily and leaves my skin clean AND feeling soft (none of that tight feeling you get after some cleansers).
ASAP Super C Serum
This is the product I was most looking forward to. I can’t say I’ve seen any significant results as yet, but it smooths on easily and definitely brightens my skin immediately after application. And it makes a kick-a** primer if I don’t feel like using an additional product.
Sheer Tinted Moisturiser SPF15
This is the product that I’m not enjoying much. I find it a little too greasy for daytime wear, but not moisturising enough for night wear. And the tint in the moisturiser makes my skin look a little muddy and dirty, rather than evening out my skintone.
Given the issues I’ve been having with this, I gave to a friend of mine to try for a couple of days. She has the opposite skin to me in that hers is dry and flaky. And she’s been loving it. So I suspect my issues might have to do with my skin rather than the product itself.
So that’s my update….. let me know if you’ve tried any of these and, if so, what you thought about the products.
