DDF – Revolve 400x Micro-Polishing System

I’ve been using the DDF Revolve 400x Micro-Polishing System for near on three weeks and figured it was time to share my thoughts on this dual cleansing / micro dermabrasion system.

Packaging

This comes inclusive of: one battery powered DDF Micro-Polisher, two exfoliating foam attachements, one cleansing brush attachment and DDF Polishing Crystals.

I gotta be honest. I really like the packaging of DDF products generally, and this is no exception.  It’s clean and functional and does what it’s supposed to do.

Product

This is an AMAZING product.

I use the cleansing brush attachment once a day, in the evenings, to clear off my makeup.  My face feels soooo clean and smooth afterwards and I can definitely feel my serums and moisturisers sinking in better.  I’m also quietly horrified at how dirty the brush looks, even if I’ve already washed my face with my cleanser.

I use the demabrasion twice a week.  This kit comes with the crystals which, when applied to the skin, actually feel hot.  It’s the strangest thing.  I pour the crystals into my hand and, by the time they hit my face, it’s like a hot towel.  Weirdest thing ever.

The derabrasion is phenomenal.  I am seeing signifiant fading of acne scars and freckles.  It’s glorious.

The polisher itself can work at two speeds.  I find the slower speed to be great for cleansing, whilst the fast speed is good for the dermabrasion.

I know what you’re all thinking – how does this compare to the Clarisonic.  Having used both, I’d say they both work equally well.  Both do pretty much the same thing and I’ve gotten pretty much the same results.  I think what might give this the edge slightly is the dermabrasion attachement and the fact that it’s so much cheaper.

Would I repurchase?

Yes, absolutely.  The difference in my skin is palpable.
