Kora – Body Lotion
I’m never one to get into celebrity beauty and makeup offerings. For the most part, I find the partnerships to be awkward and too heavily reliant upon the celebrity’s marketing pull rather than delivering a great product.
And I never quite buy the ‘Oh, I was involved in the creative process completely’, especially when, the next month, you read said celebrity raving about another product.
Now that’s off my chest, Kora Body Lotion, Miranda Kerr’s line of organic products, came to me via the Melbourne Beauty Blogger Event. I ran out of my normal hand cream, so decided to give this a whirl.
Packaging
Here’s the first thing I love. This comes in a mother freaking HUGE tube. No anorexic entree sized cream here. 200mls of the stuff.
Product
This is a fantastic cream. Although it’s called a lotion, I find it has more of a body butter texture.
Because it is a thick cream, it does leave a slightly greasy residue on the skin initially. This disappears in five minutes, leaving me with beautifully soft skin.

This is superb for using after shaving or on the hands (it’s fab for the cuticles). I’ve caught Brett on any number of occasions, sneaking a blob to use on his rough, workman hands.
Apparently, this also smells beautiful. I don’t have a sense of smell but, according to Brett, ‘it smells like chicks’. Good enough.
Price
This retails for $44.95.
Would I repurchase?
Yep. The more I use this, the more I like it.
