Becca – Beach Tint

Becca – Beach Tint

I haven’t tried Becca Cosmetics in ages.  Partly because there are so many other brands to play with.  And partly because, years ago, Becca had a few supply chain issues which resulted in me not being able to buy their products in Australia at all.  So I moved on.

I received the Becca Beach Tint as part of the Melbourne Beauty Blogger Event.  It was like meeting an old friend and wondering ‘Mmmm, do we still get along?’  Read on to find out.

Packaging

This comes in a teeny tiny tube (7ml).  It’s very cute and has that distinctive brown packaging synonymous with Becca.

Product

This is an extraordinarily versatile product.

You can use it on the cheeks to give them a flushed stain.

Or, as I do, use it on the lips to give a little colour.

The colour I received, Watermelon, is very subtle plum.  On the lips, it looks like my lips have a natural pinky hue, rather than the pale brown colour they normally have.

One criticism I do have is that this is not moisturising.  Which isn’t a problem for the cheeks but it is for the lips.  If you’re going to use this on the lips, slick some gloss over the top to not only lock the colour in, but to stop your lips from getting dry.

Don’t worry, it looks even hotter with gloss!

Beautiful, right?

Oh, and can you see the lack of hair on my upper lip.  Laser hair removal, baby!  Awesomesauce.

Price

This will set you back $42.  Given you use a tiny amount, I suspect this will last me up to a year which makes it pretty good value.

Would I repurchase?

Yes. It’s been a long time between drinks for me and Becca but this product is a great re-introduction.

I've never used Becca before; this was my first. I was skeptical in getting this lip and cheek tint, at first, because it's expensive for so little product. Thanks to MBBE, I got to try this, and I love it. LOVE. You're right, you only need so little to give you pretty lips and cheeks. This should last me a long time :)

The best part is that it's lasted through hot weather days on my cheeks and stayed glowy all day long.

Agreed Valerie. I wore it today and, whilst my Nars Sheer glow wore off, the Becca held fast.
