Product Review – Clinique Plump and Shine

I picked up Clinique’s Plump and Shine in Strawberry Burst during my Fiji holiday. It was $5 and a total bargain. Seriously, when has anyone picked up Clinique so cheap? God bless Fiji.

Packaging

This comes in a plastic tube with a cloth doe-foot applicator.

Product

The colour on this is totally unique.  It’s a subtle red with a gold shimmer running through it.

And the shine is magnificent.  You can see in the photo above how shiny it is.  It’s as shiny as a Dazzleglass, without the horrific stickiness.

However, is it plumping?  Not a chance.  I get the same discomfort you normally get from plumping formulas, with none of the plumping.  That is disappointing.  If I’m going to suffer, I want to look like a million bees have camped on me.

Price

I paid $5 but this retails for an eye watering $37 in Australia.

Would I repurchase?

Yes, but only because the colour is unique for me.  In terms of plumpness, I don’t think it does anything.
