Product Review – Eyeko Extra Glow Cream

Product Review – Eyeko Extra Glow Cream

I’ve already been through a tub of Eyeko’s Extra Glow Cream so when Eyeko asked me if I wanted to review it, I was like ‘OH HELLZ YEAH’.

So this review is more of a rave but a very well deserved one.

Packaging

If I had to pick something I didn’t like about this, it’s the packaging. I absolutely detest jar packaging. It’s unhygienic and too prone to airborne bacteria, if that makes sense.  I would much prefer a tube.

To mitigate the risk of getting the cream dirty, I use a alcohol cleansed spatula to scoop out the product and put it on the back of my hand.

Product

This comes out like a frosty pink on the hand. It looks scary at first, when dolloped on the hand but, once it’s massaged in, it loses some of the frost.

I really like this product.  I use it as a whole-of-face moisturiser, as a highlighter for the cheeks or brow bone or – my personal favourite – on the decolletage and collar bone to give my skin a sheen and brightness.

It’s subtle enough that I don’t look like a disco ball but it gives me definition and brightening where I need it.

Price

This retails for around $13AUD and the tub is freaking huge.  It took me a good 12 months to get through my last tub, and that was with daily use.

Would I repurchase?

Absolutely.  This is just one of those products that you can use on a daily basis without much thought.  It always looks good and, because it’s so cheap, you never feel guilty using it.
