Product Review – Illamasqua Android Pigment

Included in my lovely bag of Illamasqua goodies was something I would never have thought of purchasing – Android Pure Pigment.
So was this a success or one step too far outside my comfort zone? Read on!
Packaging

Although I like the aesthetic of the packaging, it’s simply not practical for me. As you can see, the pigment tends to spread everywhere, despite the presence of a stopper. It means you have to be careful about opening and closing this, otherwise it will spill.
Product
I can’t lie when I say this is the most beautiful pigment I own. My photos just don’t do it justice. It’s highly pigmented, applies beautifully with very little fallout and, on the eye, the shimmer dances around.

On the left above, I’ve applied it dry whilst, on the right, I used Mac Fix+ as a foiling agent. Personally, I think it works best when foiled. It seems to last longer and the colour is infinitely more vibrant.

In the photo above, I’ve applied this foiled.
Price
If you buy this online, it will set you back around $26. Cheaper than a MAC pigment and, in my opinion, far superior.
Would I repurchase?
I think so. However, given the amount in the pot, and how little I use, I suspect I won’t need to repurchase for some time.
