Product Review – Temptu Concealer Wheel

Product Review – Temptu Concealer Wheel

When you have skin that is riddled with pigmentation issues, a good concealer is essential. I have so many concealers, it takes up half a drawer in a Helmer.

The Temptu Concealer Wheel is one of my newer concealers. Read on to see what I think of it.

Packaging

This is such a cute little concealer. For those of who you sew (as in clothes), it’s like a little sewing needle case. It’s flat with a clear screw top lid which, when opened, reveals five different concealer shades. I really like this packaging because it’s perfectly functional, not too cumbersome and you can see all the colours through the clear lid.

Product

Mmmm, not sure why colours 1-4 look the same in the photo above. I can assure you, they are different!

Because this is silicone based, this glides on effortlessly. The coverage is super thick and will cover pretty much anything you want it to cover.

I love having the five shades all in one. For those of us unlucky to have pigmentation issues, you’ll know that, very often, one shade just doesn’t cut it. Sometimes you need a few to cover different things. With this, you have five shades all in one, which means you only have to reach for one product.

The only caveat with this is that the shades do run pink. So, if you have a warm toned person, this might be a little too pink for you.

Price

In the US, this will set you back $22. Here in Australia, we pay close to $50. Not cheap at all but if you consider that you get 5 shades in the one, it becomes a reasonably good deal.

Would I repurchase?

I’m not sure yet. I like alot of the aspects of the product but I don’t think I’ve used it enough to really love it enough to repurchase.

I got something very close to this by Adrein Arpel. But I've had it for a long time and am very sure it doesn't have that silicone base. How well does this hold up in hot weather?

any good for blemishes? I still haven't quite got the knack of feeling comfortable with how I've covered mine mm

It will cover EVERYTHING. It's just a matter of slowly building up the coverage (ie waiting for one coat to dry before applying another) and blending out with foundation.

I've only had this a couple of months and it's winter here, so it hasn't had to cope with hot weather yet! I'll update during the summer.
